After saving the Credit invoice, a window will pop up asking if you want to offset the invoice against the credit account \u2013 click \u201cYes\u201d. If you have set up an offsetting account in your settings, the purchase account and the credit account will be automatically linked.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Option 2.<\/strong> If the <strong>credited sales invoice has been paid<\/strong> (invoice status: paid) and the payment has been made in the bank\/cash register on the basis of the credit invoice.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Option 3.<\/strong> If the <strong>sales invoice is not paid<\/strong> and no refund has been made in the bank on the basis of the <strong>credit<\/strong> <strong>invoice<\/strong> created for it. Set the date when the credit invoice was paid. Set the same date as is set as the date of the credited invoice.<\/p>\n<p>In the Expenses section, create a new payment, select \u201cOffset account\u201d (see explanation below), enter the amount with a minus sign, click \u201cSave\u201d and offset with credit Invoice or select \u201cMark as paid\u201d in the invoice, select \u201cExisting payment,\u201d and check \u201cOffset account\u201d, click &#8220;Save&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In the same way, make a \u201cpayment\u201d via the Offset account to the regular account.
