The number counter is predefined in the programme. However, the counter can be reset.<\/p>\n

1.<\/strong>\u00a0Open \u201cSETTINGS\u201d<\/strong> and select \u201cEnvironment settings\u201d<\/strong>.
\n2.<\/strong>\u00a0On the next page, select either \u201cInvoice settings\u201d (sales invoices)<\/strong>, \u201cPrice offer settings\u201d<\/strong>, \u201cPurchase invoice settings\u201d<\/strong> or \u201cWarehouse settings\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nN.B. The system does not change the number counter for invoices\/offers already created.<\/strong><\/div><\/div>\n
\nThe warehouse item status cannot be changed for items in use.<\/strong><\/div><\/div>\n

3.<\/strong> When resetting the number counter you can use numbers, letters and some symbols (read more about symbols under the information icon).<\/p>\n

Suggestion:<\/strong> Create a short combination of letters at the beginning of the counter formula (it helps to distinguish between documents of different types<\/strong>, e.g. if you have also reset the number counter for sales invoices). The combination of letters should be followed by numbers (first the year, then the month and then 3\u20134 numbers at the end for counting documents). Using the year and month helps to avoid recurrence of numbers.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Example:<\/strong><\/span>
\n7PI%Y%M%4N creates a purchase invoice number 7PI14060001 (7 Purchase Invoice, 2014, June, first document).<\/p>\n
